So amazing!!
My kids love being the friend to new kids at school, when they have no one else to hang out with.

I love that. Simple things, but they make such a big impact in other’s lives.

Exactly – I feel the same way about my oldest. He’s very sensitive. I think that’s why he wants to help others so much.

I’ll never forget when my daughter was in JK and we had been to the grocery store. We would usually stop to get her a treat from Tim’s on the way out. On this particular day I had given her $5 for helping me out over the day and said she could treat herself to anything. She walked away and gave it the Salvation Army collections.

I can’t wait to help him focus that energy into positive change in our community. Because you don’t have to be a grown up to make a big difference in the world around you.

MY kids have been very involved in sports and coach others to give back. It is great when they can give back and still enjoy what they are passionate about. My youngest has developed a sweet relationship with our elderly neighbour and is always exchanging gifts with her

Our future is very bright indeed if these caring individuals become our leaders!

Love that kids are taking initiative into bettering their communities, and taking a leading role to make things happen.

Kit and I will be going on our annual trip very soon to pick up food specifically for the CP Holiday Train collection that runs in our town. He’s beginning to understand that there are families out there that need help and support from their neighbours. One day soon, when he’s a bit older, we’ll talk about the bigger picture of how we could help more.
