Last winter I visited Ste. Anne’s Spa with my mom and it was amazing. Not only because it was a great way for us to bond and for me to thank my mom for ALL of her help, but there’s something very special about Ste. Anne’s. It’s truly one of the best spots in the city to go, unwind and relax. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and I couldn’t wait to go back…. Which I did recently but this time, with fellow moms.
An article was recently published about the benefits of taking a ‘mom’ vacation. I mean, this is so obvious it didn’t require a study, but nonetheless, now it’s scientifically proven. So when the opportunity came up for me to head back there with some of my favourite moms and fellow bloggers, I jumped up at the chance. I was excited to head back and be with fellow-minded individuals who were craving the same things as me: relaxing, getting pampered, and enjoying each other’s company. If you’re planning a mommy getaway (and you should), here’s everything you need to know about booking your stay at Ste. Anne’s Spa.
Stay Overnight
When you book an overnight package, it’s all-inclusive. That means that you are covered for accommodations, food and for an allowance to use toward pampering spa services or group wellness classes such as yoga or meditation. It’s great because you don’t need to think about anything once you’re there or spend any additional money (although you probably will because they have the most amazing teas and skin care products that you will probably purchase at their boutique – speaking from experience).
Accommodations
Depending on how many of you there are, you can either stay in the Main Inn or at one of the beautiful cottages. We stayed at Casa Del Sol, which was only a short minute walk from the Main Inn. The back opened up to a beautiful and large green space (perfect for watching the sunset) and had an outdoor hot tub with the top of the line Hot Tub Filters, making it perfect to unwind even more at night while star gazing. Our particular cottage had 3 bedrooms (2 with Queen beds, 1 with a King bed), and two open bedrooms (one with a King bed and one with 2 single beds). There are two full bathrooms and 1 powder room as well. It also comes with a large full kitchen, living room, dinning room and 2 gas fireplaces. Perfection, right? Trust me when I say that you may never want to leave your cottage. But you should… because the spa awaits!
Spa Services
Last year when I went I had the hot stone massage and you can read about it HERE. This year, I wanted to try something different. Mostly because there are so many amazing options… So I did the traditional deep tissue massage which was a year overdue!

soooo relaxed!
I also tried the firming mud facial. I’ll be honest as I was a little hesitant about this. I used to get facials as a teenager and I hated them. However, this sounded like a more gentle and relaxing facial and my face was due for some care. So I threw all of my fears out the window and I was pleasantly surprised. The one hour treatment starts with a foot massage and then a face massage before the mud is applied. All this followed by a head massage. It was pretty much perfection if you ask me, and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I would highly recommend this treatment.
Food
Seriously – this might be my favourite part about Ste. Anne’s Spa. The food here is spectacular! Not only does pretty much everything taste amazing, but the portions are perfect and super healthy (perhaps not the desserts, but they need not be healthy). The best part? You can eat each of your meals in your robe! Pretty awesome, right? Lunch and Dinner menus include a starter, main and dessert and all meals come with a drink option (you have to try their teas – my personal favourite is Luscious cranberry). And if breakfast, lunch and dinner weren’t enough (and they are), your stay also includes an afternoon tea with a sampler of sandwich plate, cheese and crackers and sweets. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy free options are available too.
To be honest, there’s so much to do and experience that your time here will just fly by. If you can, I would highly recommend staying over for two nights. OR, just come and experience the spa each season. It’s truly amazing to see its transformation from Winter to Summer and in between.
Have you ever been to Ste. Anne’s Spa? What was your favourite part?
