Besides their everyday low prices and being a one-stop shop for everything you need, there are two new reasons to Love Walmart. One is their new online shipping, which is FREE, and based on my experience, usually arrives within two days of ordering. In fact, Walmart will ship out the items that are available as soon as possible and ship the rest as they become available in order to not delay your order. Again, all for FREE! I love that. The second reason to love Walmart is because they’ve recently released an online baby registry in Canada. I wish this was around when I was expecting my first son. Although I couldn’t take advantage of this great new registry, I’m excited to let all new moms know about it, including my two sister-in-laws (SILs) who are both expecting in June. For one SIL it’s her first child and for the other, it’s her fifth. I know that whether it’s your first or fifth, each newborn is so special and deserves to receive all the love they can get, including a few must-have items. This is why the Walmart registry is so great and I’m sure my SILs will love it for all of the reasons that I do.
To celebrate the launch of the online baby registry site, Walmart is throwing a party…a baby shower party, and you’re invited! The event will be held from 11:15 am to 2 pm on Saturday, January 17 at the upper level of Walmart Square One store in Mississauga. There will be games and refreshments as well as a meet and greet with parenting expert, Alyson Schafer. I’ll be there and I hope to see you there too!
