While I don’t have too many childhood memories (my brain works in mysterious ways), I will always remember my Barbies and my Barbie doll house. Barbie brought me companionship when my friends were too busy to play. It also frequently brought friends over to my house as we all loved playing with my Barbies. I loved nothing more than playing pretend and dressing up Barbie.

I also clearly remember the day I had saved enough money to purchase the Barbie Dream House. Even back then (we’re talking about mid 80’s here), it was AMAZING. The Dream house included three floors, an elevator and more. I played with that dream house for years, every year adding a few more accessories like a bathtub, car and kitchen.
