While we try to limit the amount of Television our kids watch, there’s no denying that they do watch it a few times throughout the day. Mainly first thing in the morning as my husband and I slowly wake up and try to catch up to our children’s enthusiasm of springing out of bed. Then typically after school to relax and again around dinner time while we get ready. In our house, the Treehouse channel reigns supreme. Or as my kids refer to it, “Channel 65 please!” I can’t blame them, it has so many great shows on there including Bubble Guppies, Octonauts, Mike the Knight, Team Umi Zoomi, Zack & Quack, Wallykazam and more (honestly, I can go on and on).

However, unless you had the DVD’s, these shows couldn’t be watched on the go, which would have been such a life saver on so many family vacations and road trips. That is, until now! I’m excited to let you know about the newest TreehouseGO app which is available for FREE to those who already subscribe to this channel as part of a television package. This app will be my go-to tool on our weekly road trips up north to the cottage.

My favourite feature of the app, which I think is pretty clever, is the “My Backpack” feature. This will allow you to download episodes to watch later without an internet connection (hence my excitement to use this while we’re driving up to the cottage). You can download up to 10 shows and they will stay in your backpack for 72 hours. Your kids will definitely not be disappointed as the TreehouseGo app hosts the most current and top-rated Treehouse programming to stream. When you are connected to Wifi, the app provides you with the option of watching Treehouse shows on-demand or live via the Live Stream icon.
