My oldest son Kyle may be four (and a half – as he loves to state), but sometimes I feel like we’re raising a teen. \u00a0While he doesn’t mess around when we tell him that there will be consequences for behaving a certain way, he’s already questioning our requests and answers. Lately, we’ve noticed that our son has taken on a new authority figure in his life. \u00a0Specifically, it’s his teacher. \u00a0I can’t say we’re completely devastated (she’s a great teacher), but her word, if different than what my husband and I say, takes precedence over what we say. \u00a0Here are some of my favourites:<\/p>\n
