We have three kids, but only three bedrooms. \u00a0That means that two of them will be sharing a room. \u00a0As our third son continues to grow, we realize that the time to move him out of our\u00a0room is quickly approaching. Not only is he outgrowing his bassinet, I think we’ll all sleep better. \u00a0The plan is to have my older two boys share a room (the one currently occupied by our oldest) and to move our newborn to the nursery room.<\/p>\n

When we moved our oldest son Kyle out of his crib into a bed, the move also included a new room. \u00a0To make him excited about the move, we re-decorated his room with all of his favourite stuff including an underwater theme wall, Thomas the Engine wall and we got him a personalized wall decal with his name on it. \u00a0Now that Ryan, our middle child, will be moving in a room with him, we thought it would only be fair to get a wall decal with his name on it too. \u00a0We want him to get excited about the move but we also want him to know that the room is just as much his as it is Kyle’s.<\/p>\n

Since Ryan’s\u00a0current obsessions is Bubble Guppies (or “Bubbles” as he enthusiastically calls them), it was an easy choice to use Oliver’s Labels<\/a> for the decals. Oliver’s Labels has a variety of Nickelodeon characters, including Dora, Ninja Turtles and Team Umizoomi that can be used on a variety of products that they sell. \u00a0I selected the Bubble Guppies Room-eez Wall Name & Graphics Decal that retails for $32.99. \u00a0All I had to do when placing the order was input my son’s name, and select the colour and font. \u00a0It even has a preview button that allows you to see what your finished product would look like on a wall in a kid’s room (you can even select your wall colour, how cool is that?).<\/p>\n

While placing the order was simple enough, I was actually putting off applying the decals to the walls expecting it to be difficult. \u00a0Turns out… it’s EASY! I’m not joking when I tell you it took me a less than 10 minutes to put the whole thing up. Easy peasy, which is great because really, who has time these days. \u00a0With three boys around the house, all demanding my attention, sometimes all at once, I can’t afford too much time to myself. \u00a0I think this is by far my favourite feature of the labels. The decals not only look great,\u00a0but are made of high quality materials that enable the decal to stay on your walls forever without peeling or falling off but\u00a0can be easily repositioned (which I had to do a few times) without causing any damage.<\/p>\n

Since the two older boys have a wall decal with their names, I figured I might as well get one for our newborn, Nathan. The nursery has an animal theme, so I got the animal faces wall decal. \u00a0I really believe it’s a great way to update the nursery with minimal time and financial investments.
