Spring is FINALLY here (sort-of, if you live in Canada).

It’s been such a crazy, long, cold winter, that I pretty much look for any excuse to celebrate spring. This includes flipping through magazines to see the latest fashion trends for spring. Being a mom, most of my browsing these days consists of looking at kids clothes. Quite frankly, at this point I prefer this type of browsing; kids clothes and styles are so much more forgiving and fun. While you’ll be hard-pressed to find me wearing a flower print dress or pants, it’s a no-brainer when it comes to children’s outfits. This year, some of my favourite styles for the little ones include pastels, denim tops and pants with flower and nautical prints. While most people would associate cute spring outfits with girls clothes, I was pleasantly surprised at all of the cute and bright options available for boys.

Every year for Passover, I get excited to dress up my kids in festive and bright coloured clothes. However, my older son is very sensitive about putting on clothes, so I didn’t always have it my way. However, he’s getting better about changing and now, I also have another kid I can “play” dress-up with!

It was easy to find several options at Sears.ca. Including bright striped colored shirts, pastel golf shirts, layering tops, cargo pants, shorts and dress wear. It truly was hard to pick just one outfit. Luckily, we have two nights of celebration, so I didn’t need to 😉 Check out my Pinterest board filled with lots of ideas and some of my favourite spring fashion pieces from Sears. Not to mention, the clothes are reasonably priced and Sears days are now on through to April 6th!

And just for fun, here’s a picture of me, circa 1992 all dressed up for Passover (bright scrunchy, side ponytail, white tights and all). I’m also pretty sure the dress is from Sears! In case you’re wondering, I ran to put the neck-gear on for the picture. I was obsessed with it (yes, I’m weird like that).

To celebrate all things Spring, Easter & Passover, Sears is having a great giveaway. One lucky winner will win a framed 20×20 or 10×30 speciality product AND complimentary photo shoot ($244.98 value) from Sears Portrait studio. Enter the Rafflecopter giveaway below. Contest is open to all residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), 18 years +. Contest closes March 31, 2014.

GIVEAWAY
