If you and your children loved Disney’s “Cars” movies, you are sure to enjoy the franchise’s newest movie, Planes! The movie is available on Blu-ray Combo Pack, just in time for the holiday season.

This is a heartfelt movie about an underdog plane named Dusty, a crop duster who wants to become a racer. Against all odds, Dusty remains strong-willed to overcome various obstacles and achieve his dream. Along the way, he finds the unlikeliest of friends who help him out.

I won’t spoil the ending, but it’s a happy one! “Planes” provides a great lesson in friendship and success. The movie teaches kids the importance of reaching for the stars and that “anything is possible if you set your mind to it.”

While my son often doesn’t like movies that have “scary” characters, he is a big fan of Planes. The “bad-guy” wasn’t very scary in this movie, just a little mean.

I would definitely recommend Planes to families who enjoy animated movies. This movie can be enjoyed by kids as young as three years old. Grab some popcorn, sit back and enjoy. Make it a family movie night with this Dusty and his pals!

Disney Planes Movie Review
