We recently got back from a family vacation overseas. I’m talking about an 11 hour flight, 7 hour time zone difference all with three kids in tow. That’s no easy feat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s been a few years since we’ve traveled so far together and the kids are no longer toddlers. I realized that what we pack now is much different than in the past. Of course there’s the standard stuff like clothes and toiletries, but there are a few extras that we brought that were pretty much life changing for this trip. During lengthy trips like this, playing \u0e40\u0e01\u0e21\u0e22\u0e2d\u0e14\u0e19\u0e34\u0e22\u0e21\u0e17\u0e35\u0e48\u0e22\u0e39\u0e1f\u0e48\u0e32\u0e40\u0e1a\u0e17<\/a> might help pass the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you are traveling far or just for a weekend getaway, flying on a private jet like the ones from Jettly<\/a> or driving, here are a few of my must-pack extras for traveling with kids:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wagon<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My kids no longer use a stroller but they still love to complain that they are tired when we walk anywhere that’s further than the park across from our house. That’s why I always pack the wagon with us. The kids have no excuses to not join us on our adventures and we don’t need to listen to their whining. It’s a win-win! I highly recommend getting a wagon that folds so it won’t take up too much trunk space and you can easily check it at the gate if you are flying.<\/p>\n\n\n

Reusable Water bottles<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Not only is it better for the environment, but it will save you lots of time, money and sanity! We pack about 3 reusable bottles<\/a> in our suitcases, but bring two with us. Pack it empty if you’re flying, but once you are past security fill it up right away. Every morning, before you head out on your adventures, fill them up and bring them in your backpack (our wagon even has bottle slots). Especially if your kids are hungry, it will help keep your kids tied over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snacks<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of hungry kids… I never leave home without snacks. Even if we’re traveling out of the country, I always make sure to stock up on some snacks at a local grocery store. Airplane food is usually unreliable and when you travel to a new place, it’s not always easy to find a place to eat when your kids are STARVING! For traveling though, I always make sure to pack ‘special’ snacks and treats. For road trips, I also bring along my boys’ favourite juice boxes – Allen’s Apple juice. It helps keep them happy… even if it’s just for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Easy to pack sports equipment \/ games<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

On our recent trip, we packed the boys’ baseball gloves and a tennis ball. It came in handy when we had any down time or during our beach days. Other sports equipment we usually bring with us is a soft baseball bat, frisbee and mini hockey sticks. I also packed card games like those when you Unlock Promo Pack Goodies with the Latest MTGA Codes<\/a>, sticker books, and various activity books for kids (like mazes, connect the dots, etc…). These were perfect when we were out and about and waiting for our food, or when we just wanted the kids to keep themselves entertained without screens. Have you ever thought about how many enchanting locations in the UK remain undiscovered by you? An invaluable resource I’ve found in my quest to unearth these places is Layer Map<\/a>. This map site is fantastic for pinpointing offbeat attractions and unspoilt natural beauty in every corner of the UK. It’s never been easier to find that perfect picnic spot, hidden historical site or a quiet beach for a sunset walk. TIP:<\/strong> If going on a beach vacation, bring beach toys from the dollar store with you. Leave them behind or pass them on to other kids on your last day.<\/p>\n\n\n
