About three years ago, I was home alone with my three boys, solo-parenting as John was away for work. Kyle had an incident where he fell on the bathroom tiles and had a bump on his head. While I wasn’t worried (this happened before), I wanted a second opinion. However, waking up two sleeping kids and rushing them all to the ER late at night wasn’t really an option. I called Telehealth and long-story short… they were kind of useless; at least in my experience. Luckily, I have access to two doctors (my brother and Father-in-law) 24\/7, so I called my brother for his opinion. Everything at the end turned out fine but what I really wanted and NEEDED in that moment was a doctor to make a house visit and reassure me. Unfortunately, a service like that wasn’t available back then (or at least I didn’t know of it).<\/p>\n
