It’s almost the official start of summer, but we have been lucky enough to experience summer weather in the Spring. Yes, I said lucky! That’s because I’m not really a winter person. Living in Canada I don’t exactly have a choice, but that’s why I soak up every single minute of warm weather and sunny skies! Pre-kids, I didn’t have much of a summer routine. It was just business as usual with the exception of changing over my clothes in the closet from winter to summer. However, summer weather presents a whole slew of challenges and changes now that I have kids. Mainly, we have to get summer ready!<\/p>\n

Leaving the house is never a simple process when you have kids, so being prepared is key. Whether we are heading out to our local park, the boy’s ball hockey, soccer or baseball game, or heading up north to the cottage for the weekend, there are a few things that we always need. Here are some of the things we do to help ensure we aren’t (always) running late or leaving home without some summer necessities and essentials.<\/p>\n
