Every year on Thanksgiving weekend we pack up the car, grab the kids and head up north to cottage country. It’s one of my favourite traditions and in my opinion one of the best times to be up at the cottage. The lake is so calm and peaceful and the scenery it spectacular. The changing colour leaves, combined with the cooler weather, warm wood stove, great food and company makes me so happy! However, the journey up isn’t always as peaceful. The drive can take us between 2 1\/2 hours to 3 hours. With three young kids who are either tired, hungry or bored, it’s anything but relaxing.<\/p>\n
