If you live in the city, you know that backyard space is limited. But you also know how wonderful city life can be. It’s a compromise. We gave up a big house with a big back yard to have access to stores, restaurants, coffee shops and transportation within walking distance. It’s no wonder “city folks” (as I lovingly love to refer to ourselves), spend so much time in local parks. They offer us what our own backyard can’t – SPACE! It’s safe to say that our backyard feels pretty neglected, even in the summer months. However, all of that changed last week when we received our new Springfree Trampoline (psst… discount code is located at the bottom of this post).

But let me backtrack… I first fell in love with Springfree Trampolines last year when I attended an event and tried it out for myself. I knew that if I was having so much fun jumping around and playing the tgoma (interactive digital) game, my kids would love it even more! I also learned that the trampoline can be left outside throughout the (long and snowy) winter without impacting its quality and with little if any wear and tear. In fact, jumping on it while it’s covered with snow is encouraged! Talk about some great motivation to get your kids, and yourself, outside during the winter season! Most importantly, I loved how safe the trampoline is. Springfree Trampoline uses flexible composite rods that lie beneath the jumping surface out of harm’s way compared with traditional trampolines that use metal coil springs. This, along with a hidden frame, it’s SoftEdge Mat and FlexiNet Enclosure makes it the safest trampoline around. Suffice to say I was hooked instantly and knew that we needed this trampoline in our backyard.

And guess what? I was right! The boys have been jumping on it non-stop since we’ve received it. It’s the first thing they want to do when they wake up in the morning and the first thing they want to do when they get back from camp. I’m so grateful to have it for those weeks that we don’t have the kids signed up for summer camp (which is the majority of the summer). My summer woes have been answered.

The best part about having the Springfree Trampline? We’ve finally reclaimed our backyard. I mean, we actually use it! Like ALL THE TIME! We even started having dinner in our backyard again. And it’s not just us – it’s our neighbours too. Our house has become the epicenter for the neighbourhood kids and I couldn’t be happier.

Trust me when I say that it doesn’t matter what size your backyard is, or what your backyard is made up of (i.e. interlocking stone or cement). There’s a Springfree Trampoline size that is perfect for your backyard and will keep your kids safe.

The benefits of jumping and possibilities of activities that can be enjoyed on the Springfree Trampoline are endless! I can’t wait to share all of those details with you – so stay tuned for a follow-up post on how my family and I are getting the most our of our trampoline!
