I love any meal that brings family together, especially Christmas. We have so many family gatherings at Christmas, most of them are pot luck, so it is always great to have a huge selection of choices.

I think it is so neat how food can represent different hopes in the Jewish culture, I didn’t know this!

Thanksgiving is coming up and a full-on turkey meal with all the fixins is my favourite. It hasn’t been the same since my grandma isn’t with us to cook but we have made it our own over the years. Memories the kids can look back on and maybe continue the traditions we teach them one day. Thank you for sharing!

I understand this totally. Food does bring families together and it can be a very caring thing to do to build a whole meal with love. I think my favourite meal is anything with seafood.
