Feeling the financial burden after back-to-school? Between new clothes, school supplies, haircuts, shoes, and so-on, it can add up, right? I know we’re trying to tighten up our own spending over the next few months. If you’re feeling the same, read on….
For the past few months, I’ve been testing out Freedom Mobile’s wireless plans and services. The timing couldn’t have been better because Summer is when I tend to go over my data plan limits. The additional cost, besides being unexpected, really adds up quickly.
Summer is when we spend a lot of time in the car (3-hour drives, one-way, each weekend) commuting to the cottage from home. I use that time to catch up on some work (I’m obviously not the one driving). Summer is also when my kids tend to have more access to my phone for gaming since they are around more (and this mama needs a break here and there). On top of that, I’m using my phone to train for a marathon and the data usage adds up.
However, since I’ve made the switch to Freedom, I found that I haven’t gone over my limit. HOW? It’s simple. They have great (Big Gig Unlimited) data plans that give you more, for less. I chuckled as I wrote that because it sounds too good to be true, but it’s true!
My current plan includes 17 GB of fast LTE data and unlimited text and talk across Canada. You can get it for only $75 a month or $65 when you BYOD!! That’s cheaper than my previous plan and provides me with more than 3 times more data. Crazy good, right?
Freedom offers big buckets of fast LTE data (10, 12, 15, 25 — even 30 GB) for as low as $50 a month and there are plenty of other fair and affordable plans that offer fantastic value.
Truly all of them are great deals. Not to mention, Freedom never charges overage fees. Once you’ve hit your fast LTE data limit, speeds slow but don’t stop. All I can say is FINALLY!!!
Freedom has an amazing offer out right now; Absolute Zero. Through this new offer, you can choose any premium phone (I’m talking iPhone, Google, Samsung, LG) and pay ZERO dollars. Nothing upfront, nothing extra monthly and nothing extra at the end of a standard two-year plan. So if you’ve been waiting to get a new phone or a better plan, there’s no better time than the present. Take advantage of this great deal and Freedom’s amazing data plans. I’m sure you will love them as much as I do!
Now to fess up… what do you use your cellular data on the most?

That is a pretty good plan you have! I’m on a prepaid plan with no data. I pay $10 a month! It’s mostly for emergency! We still have our landline, my husband wants to keep it.
