My Mother and I have also butted heads along the way and I can honestly say it wasn’t until I myself became a Mom that I truly appreciated her for all she’s done and all she is! She is so great with my boys and makes me a better, stronger mom everyday just by watching and learning from her interacting with them. I can admit there has been several tears on my end apologizing to her for my actions as a child. I never realized just what kind of love a Mother feels for their child….until now. And humble as she is…she just nods her head and smiles! Thanks for sharing this Maya, it’s brought tears to my eyes once again! I’m off to call my Mom <3
