When I’m at the mall shopping, I often end up leaving with bags of clothes. Not for myself of course… those days are long over. Now my shopping bags are full of clothes for my boys. One of my favourite places to shop for children’s clothes is The Children’s Place. And just in-time for back-to-school, the current style of clothes for kids, school-uniform, is just too cute. No, your children don’t need to have a school uniform in order to wear these.
Personally, I’m a big fan of preppy-looking clothes, especially for boys. I love that I can dress my sons “smart” without going overboard for a nice family dinner or a special occasion. 
The outfits are so versatile you can wear all of the pieces together or individually with other clothes you already own. I also love boy-style vests which are great for cooler days as a way to dress warmer without a coat.
While I don’t have any girls of my own, I love the school outfit looks for little girls. I wouldn’t complain if I had to wear this outfit to school and I think they would look so adorable on my nieces. Which one is your favourite?

I’m with you Maya, I love dressing him up in the preppy type of clothing (like in the photo with the tie and vest) … partially because I’m hoping it will help that he won’t be like my brother who will neeever dresses up, even for nice occasions! 🙂
