Life with children isn’t easy. Don’t get me wrong, it is amazing and very rewarding and I wouldn’t have it any other way, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. Taking care of three boys all day long is stressful and exhausting and I could use all the help I can get. Be it from my mom or a stranger, I’m hard pressed to say no to some form of help these days. I also try to make my life easier at home by finding useful hacks to help me with my house work, my routines and taking care of my boys. I have to say that my favourite life hack is using baby wipes for just about everything. I use them to clean my kitchen table, floor, to wipe my children’s hands when we’re out and about and to help remove makeup from my face. I think I’ll be carrying them in my purse for years to come, long after my kids are out of their diapers. These hacks don’t just make my life more trouble-free but they help me save money and time too.
I was recently challenged to come up with hack ideas using Carefree liners. As women, we all have liners at home and instead of running out to the store, you can use them as substitutes for a variety of ways to simplify your life. So keeping with my categories above of 1) house work, 2) beauty and 3) children, I came up with the following life hacks.
1. Use your carefree liners as padding for the bottom of your furniture. Cut them out in the shape and size and that you need and double up for additional protection.
2. Out of cotton balls? Use Carefree liners instead to remove nail polish. Dare I say they actually work better than cotton balls?!?!
3. If you’re breastfeeding and leaking, you can use Carefree liners as disposable pads for your nursing bra. Cut the liners in half and attach the adhesive side to your bra and have the padding face out to absorb any milk leakage that may occur.

My life hack doesn’t involve a pantyliner. 🙂 My pants, usually jeans, zippers always fall down so that my fly is always open. As I kid I figured out this hack. Zippers have a hole so I put an elastic band through the hole so it looped to the other side of the elastic and then I hooked it onto the button of my pants so that the fly wouldn’t fall down. 🙂

genius! Also great for using your jeans when you’re pregnant…
