Snugli Front, Back & Hip Baby Carrier Giveaway {Canada}

When I had my first son over three years ago, I didn’t know too much about baby carriers.  I knew I needed one and the only carrier I knew by name was the Baby Bjorn. So when we created our baby registry, that’s what we asked for, and that’s what we received and used.  It wasn’t until I started my blog and reading other mommy blogs that I learned that not all carriers are created equally.  The proper carrier will not hinder the healthy development of your baby’s spine and hips.

For a list of important baby carrier features to look for, check out the Baby Wearing Institute before making your purchase.

I recently got to try out the Snugli front, back and hip carrier from Evenflo. I mostly used it to carry my baby while I was out and about running errands with both of my boys. It was comfortable and fairly simple to put on which was important since I had to put it on and take it off during the cold weather.Snugli carrier

In fact, the Snugli literally saved us during the winter when we went up north to the cottage.  The cottage roads aren’t plowed and we had to walk a kilometer, knee deep in the snow, to make it to the cottage.  What we didn’t factor in is that by the time we got there it was pitch dark and we didn’t really think about how we would get our three year old to the cottage (there was no way he was walking all the way on his own).  Luckily, I had the Snugli in the car with us.  My husband back-carried our toddler son and he carried other bags at the same time. The Snugli was truly a life safer and I was so happy that we had it.snugli hip carry

Some of my favourite features of the Snugli are:

• Holds children between 16-40 lbs

• Ergonomic seated position for baby wearing

• Easy adjustability for growing baby

• One handed buckle

• Soft and breathable, easy-clean fabricSnugli baby carrier

Together with Evenflo, Mayahood blog is giving away a Snugli carrier ($70 value) to one lucky winner. Enter the giveaway via Rafflecopter below (please give it a few seconds to load).  Contest is open to Canadians. Contest ends Friday, March 28, 2014. Good-luck!
