To me, gifts are always more meaningful if they are personalized. It’s one of my favourite things to both give and receive. That’s why I was excited to learn about a new company, Stuck on You, that makes personalized kids labels and gifts. While it was new to me, the company was originally created in 1995 by a Mom.
While many parents are right now focusing getting their kids ready to send their kids to summer camp and getting all of the necessities, including labels, my kids are still too young for camp. I still remember when I went to camp, I didn’t label and of my belongings and I’m pretty sure I came home with half of the stuff I went in with. I was also a little jealous of my best friend who had labels on all of her clothes. Fortunately, it was a parenting lesson that I learned early on… kid labels = parenting win! Next year though, my son starts junior kindergarten, and I know that labels will be at the top of my list. Luckily, I have a few more months before I have to think about that (I’m pretty much in denial right now that my son will be starting school in September).
I was excited to try out some of the awesome personalized gifts offered by Stuck on You. I selected a water bottle for my youngest son and puzzle with his name. My initial reaction was that the products were made of high quality. The puzzle is made from wood and the pieces were each brightly coloured and sturdy for my son’s little hands. It’s a perfect first puzzle for a one year old. It also makes a great keepsake for once he’s older.
The water bottle spill proof, insulated, BPA free and made from food grade stainless steel. It’s perfect for the summer and year-round, but it was especially great to take along on our recent trip to the Dominican. It was easy for my son to use and it was nice that he had a bottle for himself. We selected a dinosaur design, but there are over 25 whimsical designs to choose from.
Besides the labels, puzzles and drink bottles, you can purchase personalized backpacks, height charts, art kits, clocks, activity books and some great gift ideas for Father’s Day. I would highly recommend Stuck on You for their variety and high-quality products and great customer service.
Together with Stuck on You, TWO lucky Mayahood readers will win a $20 voucher to use at Stuck on You. Enter the giveaway via Rafflecopter below (please give it a few seconds to load). Contest is open World Wide. Contest ends Friday June 6, 2014. Good-luck!
