Since she will be a ‘Golden Girl Retriever’ you could go with a ‘Golden Girls’ name. Sophia, Blanche, Rose or Dorothy.

Cooper looks forward to meeting his Golden Girlfriend. We took Cooper to ‘Who’s Walking Who’ in St Lawrence Market area. They were really good. Its reward based training….. retrievers are very food motivated so i think its the way to go. http://www.whoswalkingwho.ca/

Names, hmmm, no can’t help you there! Let me explain why. My daughter named one of our dogs Travis, but he is known as chabby-choo, or chabbis, don’t ask me why, I have no idea. Our other dog Mutley, we call Mutty. And when I come home and they come bounding up to greet me, the first one to reach me gets a “hello number 1” and not surprisingly the other gets a “hello number 2.” My daughter is often “hello number 3” which she doesn’t appreciate at all! 🙂

ah! Someone else made that suggestions too. I think it’s funny too BUT… I know someone that named their dog Maja (pronounced like my name, Maya) and I can’t say I’m a big fan of it 😉 Thanks for the suggestion though!

I know! That’s what I’m thinking as well… except he doesn’t really make up any words, so not sure if it’ll work. I was thinking of maybe using some that he already knows like CoCo or Bubba… but John’s not keen on those.
