My best friend recently had her second child. I couldn’t wait to get over to visit her – so I could congratulate her in person but also so I could hold and snuggle with the baby. The newborn smell, the little features, cute toes, and the softest skin ever…. I honestly couldn’t help touching his legs and arms because I was in awe of how sweet and soft his skin was. It’s been almost three years since Nate was born, and I loved being reacquainted with having a newborn (but not enough to have another one).
A newborn’s skin is so soft and delicate because it’s unharmed by the elements… as of yet. But it takes work to keep it looking and feeling that way. In fact, babies’ skin is up to 30% thinner and loses moisture 2X faster than adult skin, so they need extra moisturization to keep their skin healthy. Water alone is not enough as it might dry out their skin and it only removes about 65% of oil and dirt. Since a baby’s skin is so sensitive, it requires unique products that help reduce water loss and don’t disrupt skin barriers and essential oils that provide natural skin moisture. Luckily, Johnson’s specially formulated baby products have been around for years helping parents clean and moisturize their babies’ skin.
We recently got to try out Johnson’s new HEAD–TO–TOE Extra Moisturizing collection, which includes bath time washes, creams and washcloths. The products can be used at home or on the go, in the tub or out. In fact, we found the new baby washcloths to be especially handy when we were up at the cottage. While we do have a shower there (but no bath), the kids don’t like using the shower, and the warm water doesn’t last for more than five minutes. Instead, I’ve been using JOHNSON’S HEAD‐TO‐TOE Baby Washcloths to “bathe” Nate during our cottage stays.
He also happens to love the new JOHNSON’S HEAD–TO–TOE Extra Moisturizing Baby Cream. In fact, I do too! It’s become part of my daily moisturizing routine because it makes my skin feel so soft and I love the smell!!

I’ve been using Johnson’s products since my oldest was born almost 7 years ago, and I have a feeling I’ll be continuing to use their products long after my kids grow up. I mean, you can never be too old to have clean, soft and sweet-scented skin!

I actually grew up with Johnson’s, back then there was only the baby talcuum powder (over 60 years ago) and I love the smell of that to this day 🙂
