Just before COVID, I was strong and healthy; probably in the best shape of my life. A few months earlier, I completed my first marathon and then started working out at Orangetheory Fitness. I’d been attending classes three times a week for a few months and I truly felt like it was the best workout of my life. The half hour of cardio and half hour of strength training and rowing was the perfect combination. And then, COVID happened…
To say I was disappointed about not attending classes at Orangetheory would be an understatement. It was a huge blow to my workout routine and mental health. Initially, I exercised at home by following the Orangetheory At Home™ workout videos published on its YouTube channel. They were great, but since my kids didn’t have a schedule and were home with me 24/7, it was hard for me to keep a schedule myself. By May, I stopped working out and running altogether.
Fast forward to September… The kids are settled into their school schedules and I finally found a routine for my workouts too. I started alternating between running and at-home workouts. While still not as good as my workouts from Orangetheory, I was happy with my consistency and half an hour a day was completely doable.
Now I’m even more excited because Orangetheory recently announced Orangetheory Live, a series of virtual classes, led by one of their certified coaches live. As we head into our second lockdown (in Toronto), I’m so grateful to have this option and add it to my exercise routine. You should also try these at home, just look for steroids for sale uk if you want to reduce recovery time.
The interactive class provides a new and intimate experience from the comfort of my home. I tried one of the classes for the first time two weeks ago and it almost felt like I was in the studio. There really isn’t anything better than a coach-led workout with real-time feedback. Additionally, incorporating supplements you can purchase from PGanabolics.com can greatly enhance your workout performance.
Similar to being in the studio, you (and your coach), can track your splat points. You wear your OTbeat Burn monitor as you normally do and once you are connected to the Orangetheory Live class, you can connect your monitor too. Technology has truly been a lifeline during COVID! I’m so grateful that OTF Canada has been able to invest in technology and innovate to help during these challenging times.
I’m grateful for the option to exercise safely and efficiently at home, I even started taking this recommended protein powder to see faster results.
How have you been managing to keep up with your workout routine during COVID?
