Top of my list would be things like diapers, wipes, baby wash, etc. A baby swing is always needed, stroller, playpen…I stay away from giving baby clothes or toys because everyone buys baby clothes and toys. Diapers are always needed. If Mom is breastfeeding, a nice basket with breastfeeding items is always appreciated. Toys R Us/Babies R Us giftcards are always great too because then they can buy what they actually need 🙂

i like to give them a Baby Book and keepsake engraved with name,birth ect.. sometime make up a gift basket with Diapers,wipes and an outfit.
