Tips for Frizzy Curly Hair Care from The Beauty Supply Outlet

When I think back to my pre-kids days, I actually can’t believe that I used to get my hair done every week. I enjoyed my weekly Friday sessions at the hair salon, getting my hair straightened, and enjoying some downtime. I always get to visit my favorite hair salon cranston ri to fix my hair and make it even healthier.   With skilled stylists and a passion for trends, they offer personalized services from chic cuts to vibrant colors.  These days, I could really use that downtime, but it just doesn’t seem to be an option. That’s why, for the past four years, the only love my hair saw was for a special occasion like a holiday party or a wedding. Otherwise, I had my standard look; pulled back in a low side pony.  While it worked well at first, over time this has become dull and boring… Actually, I became tired of it. But here lies my problem. I have curly frizzy hair and at the age of 33, I still haven’t figured out how to “tame the mane”.  In fact, my previous roommate used to nick-name me Lion Maya.  My hair is so bad that I need to wash it everyday just so it doesn’t look out of control. I wish I didn’t care that much, but I do.  To me, my hair makes my look.

 Frizzy Curly Hair Care

My go-to hair style for special occasions is straightening my hair.  Truthfully, I’m jealous of people who can pull off the curly-look.  My hair is naturally curly, I just don’t know how to manage it.  After spending enough time and money testing out random hair products that promised to deliver but never do, I decided to head to the experts at the Beauty Supply Outlet to see what tips and advice they might have to share with me.

I explained my dilemma to the stylist at the store and she immediately knew what I needed.  I told to her that I don’t have a lot of time to manage my hair nor do I use a diffuser.  I wanted a quick and easy solution for “freeing” my curls, leaving them down to do their thing without having them feel or look hard or sticky.  I also asked her to recommend a shampoo and conditioner since I was using a generic brand and figured that it was time for an upgrade.   She recommended that I use CATWALK hair cream by TIGI to help me with the frizz and provide definition to my curls and the same brand-name conditioner and shampoo. The other great tips that she gave me was to comb my hair while in the shower and to use a microfiber towel to dry my hair.CATWALK

The results? I’m proud and excited to say that I’ve kept my hair down and curly for a week now and I loved it!  Not to mention, it’s been over 25 degrees every day. As a stay at home mom, who is busy spending a lot of time outdoors running around after my two boys, I still tend to pull my hair back throughout the day.  Yet, when I take out my hair elastic, my hair still looks and feels great.  I actually can’t believe how a few simple changes can make such a big difference.curly hair down

Yes. It’s honestly such a game changer. More expensive than the typical products at Shoppers, but IT WORKS! Totally worth it…

Wow what a difference that made! I should try it out, my hair is similar to yours so I just straighten it with an iron so I don’t have to really deal with the frizz! I love the BSO btw, they have such a great selection of products!

What a great product! I have always been a fan of curly hair and envied lucky ladies who had the curls. But they would always complain about their frizz too so I’ll be sure to send them this link. Your hair looks great!!

I was lucky to be born with straight hair, I don’t need to worry about it being curly or frizzy.

Your hair curls look wonderful. I have a fizzy curly hair and tried many products with no change. I think I have to try these products. I wish not to go to the hairdresser every week to straighten my hair. Here comes the cure :).. Thanks for your help.
