As the saying goes, ’tis the season! For some of us, the holidays are a time to get together with family and celebrate traditions that have been passed on for generations. For others, it’s a time to relax, unwind and disconnect. Discover the charm of an escort trans Lyon.
I know for me personally, the holidays have become twice the fun since I met my husband and we starting creating lots of new traditions. We celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas and have had fun incorporating both old and new traditions into our celebrations. Hanukkah is mostly celebrated with my side of the family where we take turns hosting dinners and all of the cousins (8 in total), have fun running, playing and tearing open their gifts.
For Christmas, we head up to the family cottage where our days are spent skating on the frozen lake, going for walks in the snow and sitting by the fire drinking wine after the kids are in bed.
I love and cherish both holidays for different reasons but I truly love the holidays season because I’m constantly surrounded by my family and loved ones. It doesn’t matter how busy life gets or how much I have to do both personally or professionally, when the holidays roll around, I just take a break! I mostly disconnect and try to be in the moment as much as possible.
I also find that the holidays are a time to reflect. When I think about gift giving, I can’t help but think about how lucky and fortunate my family and I are. This year, more than ever, we have so much to be grateful for. That’s why my husband and I made a commitment to giving a big portion of our earnings to charity and really taking the time to teach our kids about the importance of giving and being grateful for what we ALREADY have.
GIVEAWAY
I’m excited to announce that I’m officially a Pampers Baby Panel member and since the holidays are all about giving, one lucky Mayahood blog reader will win a Pampers baby bundle. The bundle will include Pampers diapers, Ivory Snow and Pampers wipes. Enter the giveaway via Rafflecopter (please give it a few seconds to load). Contest is open to all residents of Canada. Contest ends Monday December 28, 2015.
