I notice I have certian go to phrases. When I’m elbows deep in dishes and I’m getting requests to play I say, “Mama’s hands are busy right now.” Sometimes a lesson in patients is necessary. Then in turn I notice my boys teach me a lot about patients.

Getting out is key. I found learning centres to be great too like Mother Craft (they are free!) and have great drop ins in Toronto and visiting story time at the libraries.
