Fall is here, and in case you didn’t read my last few posts, you probably didn’t know that I “lurv” this season. I love the cooler weather, the fashion, the beautiful changing coloured leaves, the cozy EVERYTHING, and enjoying comfort food like chili and turkey dinners! And while the sun has decided to hang around a little longer, I’ve already started gearing up for Fall. I bought a new top, a sweater coat and some new home decor inspired by the season.
My favourite part of Fall is heading up to the cottage for the Thanksgiving long weekend. I love the cool crisp air, going for walks in the forest, seeing the red, yellow and orange leaves on the trees as a backdrop on the lake, enjoying wine by the wood stove and feasting on a big turkey dinner with family and friends. It might just be my favourite weekend of the year! I find that this is the weekend that helps me get in the “spirit” of the season and enjoy all of the wonderful things that it offers.
