A few weeks ago I wrote a post about some of my favourite life hacks. I was challenged by Carefree to use pantyliners to help out with everyday challenges.  I then put YOU (my readers) up to the challenge and asked you to share with me some if your life hacks.  I have received some great comments and I have to say that I’m amazed at some of the creative and genius solutions people came up with.  Who knew that pantyliner could be so versatile.

Carefree life hack

I was asked to select my favourite life hack suggested but it was so hard to narrow down all of the responses and pick out just one.  So here are some of the best life hacks based on the following categories: fashion, kids, health and food.

Fashion: Melinda wrote “I use it to wrap the bra underwire when the wire sticks out.” Yes! I wish I thought of this ages ago.  I know it’s best to purchase a new bra once yours start fraying and falling apart, but sometimes it’s hard to let go of your favourite, comfortable bra.

Kids: SweetPanda wrote “One time, I need to change my son’s diaper but I found that I used up all the one (diapers) that I have in my bag. So, I use a pad and liners to stick in the front and the back of his pant as temporary diaper.” Kind of genius when you’re in a state of emergency.

Health: Silvia wrote “I fainted one day, I broke my leg and hit my forehead on the counter which resulted in a long cut along the hairline. My husband cleaned it and had the idea to use a panty liner to cover it , the nurses in emergency commented on his quick thinking! Another hack he has is using pads and liners when he gets leaks on his motorcycle , says it stops the oils from dripping until he fixes it!” Personally, I love this comment a lot because it has two great ideas from a man. Who says pantyliners are only for women!?!?

Food: Andrea wrote “I reuse the little plastic clips on bread loaves to help keep frozen vegetables sealed after I open the bag.” Such a great idea. Especially since we go through so many bags of bread. I’m going to start collecting them now and reusing them.Since Panytliners are so useful, you can never really have enough.

So take the pledge to protect and you will receive free coupons for Stayfree pads and Carefree liners a long with some other great deals.
