“Lets go to the cottage mommy…. it’s not a far drive!” says my three year old son as he leaps into his shiny new red car. He turns left, right and left again before he remembers that we forgot to pack some important stuff – HIS TOYS!
It’s quite a site to see my son use his imagination to play pretend. As of late, his favourite thing to pretend is that he’s driving places. The cottage, Myrtle Beach and New York city are just some of places that top his list. This all started once we received the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Crawl Around Car. It’s become a permanent fixture in our living room.
The car is a perfect stationary toy with different uses for both my 3 year old and my 9 month old. My younger son is actively developing his fine and gross motor skills pressing the various buttons and pulling himself up and using the car to shuffle around. As my younger son grows, I know the crawl around car will be a great toy to use to continue to develop his cognitive skills through colour, shapes, letters and numbers recognition.
Here are some of my other favourite features:
• 75+ sing-along songs, tunes and phrases
• Interactive dashboard with lights, sounds and busy activities
• Built-in ramp for ball play (includes 3 balls)
• Shapes and colors sorting door (includes 3 shape blocks)
The only thing that I found you have to be careful for while using the car is ensuring that the car door is not open if you have little ones using it to support themselves while standing. As the door can move, my younger son will often fall over if he tries to use it to stand up or support himself.
The Crawl Around Car is suitable for kids ages 6 – 36 months, is available at Toys R Us, Walmart, Sears and Target and retails for $64.99. This is sure to be one of this year’s “HOT” toys so make sure to get one for the little children in your life.

My girls would have really enjoyed this when they were younger. The car they had was not nearly as snazzy as this one!

My son would love that but there’s no floor space in my house for ride on toys! I wish I had a big basement or something he could use ride on toys for (or push toys for that matter). It’s really cute!

Your little ones are way too cute! My son is also a HUGE fan of this toy. I love it as there are so many learning aspects.

It’s amazing how much “mileage” you can get out of these cars! So great both your 9 month old and 3 year old can get such good use out of this.

I’m with Craig here, our girls had to make do with a car that definitely wouldn’t measure up these days
