If you’re looking for some holiday gift inspiration either for your favourite sister, aunt, mom or YOURSELF, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve teamed up with four other bloggers: Lisa from Fab Frugal Mama, Christine from Life on Manitoulin, Amanda from Multi-Testing Mommy, and Meri from Lil-Sugar, to provide you our top picks for the holidays. These are the brands and products that we’ve each tried and loved and would refer to any of our friends. In fact, we devoted this entire post to gifts that are perfect for the busy mom, because we all know that moms deserve to be spoiled and pampered every once in a while!

TOMS Bags

Most of us are familiar with TOMS shoes where for every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS will donate a pair to children in need. My favourite of all of TOMS giving initiatives is through their bag collection. For every bag you purchase, TOMS will help provide a safe birth for a mother and baby in need. As a mom to three kids, I know how fortunate I am to have given birth in Canada surrounded by the best facilities, health care professionals and hospitals. Through TOMS newest initiative, funds will be used to help provide safe births in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Haiti and India. This work will be done by a network of TOMS Giving Partners involved in maternal and child health programs, who will help provide training for skilled birth attendants, along with providing a safe birth kit that includes vital materials like soap, gloves, gauze, a cord clamp, surgical blade and a clean surface to help a woman safely give birth.

I’ve been lovingly carrying my TOMS weekender bag with me since I got it last spring. It’s officially taken over as my diaper bag (aka purse and everything else). You don’t need to be a yogi to fall in love with the beautiful, hand-crafted jewelry from Tiny Devotions. I was instantly drawn to the beautiful necklaces and bracelets. Tiny Devotions’s journey began when its founder made Mala Beads while living in Bali. She soon realized that her passion can be turned into a venture when Lululemon came knocking at her door.
