I have a confession to make! While I love to shop, I probably haven’t stepped foot in a mall in a very long time, likely since before my 8 month old was born. Okay… that’s not entirely true. I have been to a mall, but what I haven’t done is gone shopping for MYSELF. So when I received the opportunity to go to a Jean Machine store to try out the 1 on 1 personal fitting experience, I couldn’t hide my excitement. 
For one, I am 8 months post partum and my body is ALMOST (really, really close) to my pre-baby weight. My wardrobe is ready for an update. Not only because I like to keep up with fashion trends or because it’s a new season but rather, my current clothes are not fitting as well. They’re either too baggy, frumpy or too casual. Sure, I’m a SAHM, but I still like to feel good about myself and look my best. I’m not a hermit and I have a husband. Enough said!
The other thing that excited me about going to Jean Machine was the fond memories I have from shopping there in the past. Jean Machine was the store of choice for me and my friends. I remember when I was in University spending hours on end in the store with my girlfriends trying on different outfits. We literarily shopped till we dropped. 
On Monday, I went to Jean Machine at Yorkdale. I met with my 1 on 1 Master of Denim, Vito, and we immediately hit it off. He just looked at my current outfit and guessed my size and style immediately. Off he went to grab a few pants and tops. Vito is a bit of a mind reader because the next thing I know, I’m trying on a pair of Second Denim Yoga jeans and Silver’s, the two brands that I was keen on trying during my visit. I also loved the fact that he brought a few top options for me to try. One was casual and the other was dressier but could still be worn daily. While I do always like looking my best, I don’t really have anywhere fancy to go these days, that’s why I loved both of the choices Vito presented me with. 
After trying on four different styles of jeans I settled on the skinny mid-rise jeans from Silver and Second Yoga. Both pairs that I tried on were comfortable and flexible which is ideal because I spend my days chasing after my two active boys. They were each in essence, the perfect pair! Since I couldn’t decide which one to get, I got them both. 
Having a personal stylist like Vito took the guessing work out of my shopping experience and I just got to relax and enjoy my time at the store. I knew I was in good hands and that no matter what, I would walk out with an updated fashionable outfit that is just right for me and my lifestyle.
